Old Malmesbury Talmud Temple Building

This airvent (along with the side of the gable visible) is the last remnant of a building that is recognizable as having a connection to the shul – it now houses the Malmesbury Museum. The foundation stone was laid by Adv. Morris Alexander in April of 1935, and it was officially opened by mayor of Cape Town Louis Gradner (Rabbi Mirvish was also in attendance).
